CASology feature - My craft space

Hey everyone today is the last week of my feature at CASology. Today I am sharing my craft space with you all. This space is subjected to change with any house move we make. We moved to this house in April last year, and it took me a while to setup my space. I am lucky to have a room to all for myself, usually no one disturbs me while crafting! Since I am not working full time, I craft in the mornings when everyone leaves home ;)
It is a decent 12/12 sq ft room with a huge window with a good view, and to let plenty of natural light in. My helper is the only one who shares this room with me, but we are never together in here, she iron clothes here, which happens early in the morning in between 8-9am, and I don't start my crafting that early.

I managed to click a picture with the sunlight in, this is how it looks from the outside( Usually the clothes rack is with clothes to be ironed, looks like I picked a good day to click the picture. My kids might not have done their laundry)

My desk is to one corner, I have also used up the space on the window sill, which is as wide as a single bed. I can reach everywhere from my chair, call me lazy but I usually don't have to get up, everything is in my reach.
There are 2 shelves on the window sill, the wooden one holds my papers. There is not a lot, as Macau is very humid, hence I don't stock a lot. I buy as and when required. I don't like my paper to get the humidity and lose the crispiness. It goes all the way up to 100%humid. So all my paper is kept in the original plastic cover to keep it crisp .

Above that in the boxes I keep all the finished cards, all sorted out.
Next to it, there are my beads and some small embellishments, again all sorted.
This shelf below holds my water-colors, sewing kits, fabric and other miscellaneous stuff.

The basket right next to my desk holds all my stamps.

All the stamps are place in this folder sorted, I don't mind that the folder cannot be closed ;) , I don't have big collection of stamps, but it is decent for my crafting needs, and I keep adding stamps every now and then.

To the left of my desk, there is a small shelf on wheels, it hold my Sizzix big shot on top, and the drawers hold heat tool, embossing powders. The other ones hold stencils, and punches

This is my desk, I didn't bother for a matching chair, I took one chair from our dinning chairs, we are family of 4 and have 6 chairs.

On the top left , I keep my ribbons and assorted embellishments in boxes.
Below those, I have my felt embellishments, and rubber stamps.

Next to that, I keep all my sponges, I mostly use the household sponge for sponging, but I do have the distress ink dabbers as well. The box next to it holds embossing folders, and dies.

Next sits my markers, scissors, and color pencils

The draws on my desk hold inks in the first 2, and sequins and rhine stones, twines etc on the third one.

Since this is a computer desk, I have a keyboard place, where I keep my acrylic blocks.

I click pictures of my cards by the window in natural light.

And finally the view from my crafting desk or room, this one is clicked on a cold and rainy day with no sun. I get to see my kiddos getting of the school bus from my room. But seeing the swimming pool always, I forget that there is no sun at times, which happens a lot. We don't get much sun in Macau.

I thought of sharing a space I use as much as my crafting space, it is from where I write my blog posts. It is in my living room, I usually sit by the window, and do my blogging from there.
and the view is pretty nice all throughout, during day you can see far, actually to another country. The mountains are in China. The bridge takes you to China border. Behind the golf course, the huge shiny buildings are part of Macau, those are the casinos, If you don't know this, that Macau is a replica of Las Vegas, it is a tiny casino country/city which are all beautifully lit up in night, so a great view. They usually have laser shows in night ;)
So this is it, my crafting place, not much in there, but it has grew a lot in supplies wise in last few months, and I see it growing in near future, which my frequent trips to Hong Kong for supplies ;)

Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate your kind  feedback :) Have a great day!
